Tamil engineers,
building Kuwait.
iTEF Kuwait Chapter carries forward more than two decades of engineering fellowship in the Gulf — the local chapter of a global network of 40,000+ Tamil engineers across 38 chapters and 7 regions.
One world, one forum, one Kuwait chapter.
iTEF Kuwait Chapter is a nonprofit professional association of Tamil engineers working across Kuwait's oil & gas, EPC, petrochemical, and infrastructure sectors. Registered with the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, the chapter exists to turn a shared professional identity into technical growth, leadership development, startup, students wing, and cultural belonging for its members and their families.
Technical knowledge
Seminars, expert lectures, and site-relevant workshops that keep members current on codes, technologies, and safety practice across the industries they work in.
Recognition & growth
The Startup Excellence Awards spotlight members and ideas for innovative startups, building the startup ecosystem in Kuwait, alongside mentorship for early-career engineers.
Community & family
Sports meets, educational mentorship programs and finance literacy programs, and wellness and children's activities that keep the wider Tamil engineering community connected outside of work.
Startup mentoring
iTEF connects founders with experienced engineers and professionals who can guide them as they build their businesses, with innovation and entrepreneurship as a core focus area. The goal: incubate, mentor, motivate, and channel resources for startups.
Part of a worldwide engineering network
iTEF Kuwait Chapter operates under the International Tamil Engineers Forum, headquartered in Chennai — a digital engineering ecosystem linking Tamil engineers across continents through shared chapters, resources, and opportunities.
What the chapter conducts annually.
Two events anchor the calendar — the International Technical Conference & Exhibition (iTCE) and Workshop on Innovation & Startup (I&S) — supported by technical seminars through the year.
